Lakeview Manor offers luxury lodge accommodations set in 18 hectares of private parkland within the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests can choose between Lake Front Lodges with direct lake access, elevated Lake View Lodges with panoramic estate views, or secluded Brook View Lodges overlooking a woodland brook. Many lodges feature private hot tubs on decking areas, and the Dabbling Duck Restaurant serves locally sourced meals in a relaxed setting. The property includes two stocked fishing lakes, dog-friendly walking trails, and proximity to the Jurassic Coast (25.7 km) and Exeter International Airport (35 km). Lakeview Manor provides family-friendly lodges with open-plan layouts, pet-friendly options, and flexible room configurations.

Cons
Some lodges lack lakefront views due to their elevated or brook-side settings.
The rural location requires a car for exploring nearby attractions.
“This Dunkeswell hotel strikes me as particularly well-suited for travelers with dogs, offering amenities like treats and a dedicated agility area. The dining also stands out, with options to include pets and a Sunday carvery drawing special praise, suggesting a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the grounds.”
