Grand Hotel Tremezzo - A lakeside palace with five dining venues, a private beach, and T Spa featuring an infinity pool
Grand Hotel Tremezzo offers 90 rooms and suites with lake or park views, some featuring private balconies or terraces. The hotel includes five restaurants, such as La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi, serving modern Italian cuisine, and T Beach, specializing in grilled dishes by the lake. Leisure facilities span over 2 hectares, including three pools-among them a floating lakefront pool-and a clay tennis court. The T Spa, housed in an 18th-century villa, features a heated indoor infinity pool and hydro-massage areas. Located directly on Lake Como's western shore, the hotel faces Bellagio and is adjacent to Villa Carlotta's botanical gardens. A continental breakfast is available each morning at Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
Pros
The private beach and floating pool provide direct access to Lake Como.
The T Spa includes a hydro-massage infinity pool and treatments by Santa Maria Novella.
Multiple dining options, including Giacomo al Lago for seafood and L'Escale for regional wines.
Proximity to Villa Carlotta's gardens, a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
Cons
Some rooms overlook the park rather than the lake.
The nearest major airport, Bergamo Orio al Serio, is 65 km away.
“Grand Hotel Tremezzo understands Lake Como's allure. The views are mesmerizing, especially from lakefront rooms and the floating pool, while inside, the design shows immaculate attention to detail. The breakfast buffet stands out, and the T Bar provides a perfect end to the day.”
